Columbus Ohio

Are you craving a romantic weekend getaway in Ohio? I’ve put together a few good choices from Columbus and Cleveland. Hopefully these will be enough to get your started! I’ve tried to select hotels for different budgets.

If you’d like to stay in Columbus, try The Westin. The beds here are rumored to be extremely comfortable, and the entire whole has the feel of an older, classy hotel – the lofted lobby is a grand space (check out the stained glass windows and crystal chandeliers.) There may not be a pool or hot tub, but tennis courts and golf courses are nearby. Or, you might enjoy the Short North Bed & Breakfast. This charming Victorian hotel is located in the middle of the quaint and hip Short North Arts District. There are seven beautiful rooms to choose from, all of which range from $130-$150 per night. While this hotel does not have “big hotel amenities,” it does make up for this with a ton of ambiance and charm.

Columbus OhioStaying in Cleveland? If you’d like to stay someplace a little glamorous and where you’ll be pampered, definitely look into the Ritz-Carlton. You’ll have to pay between $250-$500 per night, but you’ll be surrounded by comfortable elegance and outstanding service. Marble bathrooms, twice-daily maid service and a massage parlor are just some of this beautiful hotel’s perks. It’s located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, too. If you’d like a more budget friendly romantic hotel in Cleveland, you might enjoy the charming Stone Gables Bed & Breakfast. You’ll be less than a mile from downtown Cleveland, and yet you’ll feel removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of this Victorian hotel’s five rooms have jacuzzi tubs and all have satellite television. The gourmet breakfasts are said not to be missed! Rooms here range from $100-$200 per night.
