They get to play the Cubs, Astros (not to mention the Pirates and Reds) a ton, seeing as they share the division with these bad teams. The Astros are 42 games under .500. 42. The Cubs and Astros combine to be 98-154. Aside from St. Louis, no other team is above .500 in their division.
- SOLID PITCHING While the Brewers can't touch the Top 10 in Team ERA. it remains far better than the ERA of other division leaders and competitors, like the Red Sox, Diamondbacks and Indians. Grenkie, Gallardo, Wolf and Marcum have proved to be a powerful punch, capable of winning games in the postseason.
- HOT BATS They are one of the 10 best hitting and best power hitting teams in baseball, with Jonathan Lucroy, Corey Hart, Nyjer Morgan, Prince Fielder and Ricke Weeks all hitting well.
